I just received some more fun pictures of the twins with Auntie Sarah. Looks like they're having fun on the wheel swing! Be careful, Sarah! Those socks look like they're about to fall off!
And what do we have here? Is it the twins playing with one of three fun cats? Yes... yes, it is. Hey, cat. Don't eat the twins OK? They're just looking for a quick cat nap!

Lately I've been taking the twins out regularly for long walks and various sports (they love Kickball!) to clear their heads. I thought the twins were really starting to relax and getting use to a better life without "the bad man." But it seems they have been slowly consumed with a sense of despair and dread. I assure them the bad man isn't coming back and there won't be anymore abuse. They continue to retreat further into themselves. They take little interest in personal hygiene, going days without being laundered. I'm really trying to reach out and connect with them but I'm at my wits end. I hope the damage the bad man did isn't irreparable.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Yes, the twins really are very athletic. They enjoy playing softball, running, and hitting the gym. I did not know they enjoy kickball too! That is wonderful! Sounds like they are getting some good exercise. Tell them not to worry about the bad man. The bad man is gone and can't hurt them anymore.
